A legend, we do not have a ghost ship that is more famous than the Flying Dutchman, who've inspired many paintings, horror stories, movies, and even an opera. The ship's first
times mentioned in the late 1700s in the book George Barrington's Voyage to the sailor's Botany Bay, and since then his legend continues to grow, thanks to the various appearances of fishermen and sailors. Initially, the Flying Dutchman is a ship that docked from Amsterdam. Captained a man called Van der Decken. The ship was headed East Indies when faced with dangerous weather near the Cape of Good Hope. Determined to pass, Van der Decken to go crazy, kill the first mate, and vowed that he would cross the Cape. While doing business, the ship finally sank. 2. Mary Celeste
Mary Celeste (sometimes misspelled as "Marie Celste") is a two-mast vessel type cargo and passenger carriers found in the Atlantic Ocean lost virility and neglected despite the fact that the weather is sunny and has a crew and an experienced sailor. Mary Celeste in decent condition to sail when it slid toward the straits of Gibraltar on 1872.Kapal is located in the ocean for a month and has six full months supply of food in it. The story dates back to 1775, when it is said that a whaler called the Herald stumbled across Octavius floating aimlessly off the coast of Greenland. Crewmembers from the Herald up Octavius, where they found the bodies of the crew and passengers of all frozen by the arctic cold. Most prominently, the crew found the ship's captain was still sitting at his desk, the middle of completing a log entry from 1762, which means that Octavius had been floating for 13 years. According to legend, he eventually discovered that the captain had risked to make a quick return to England from the East through the Northwest Passage, but that ship has become trapped in the ice. If true, this would mean that Octavius had completed part of the Atlantic as a ghost ship, its crew and captain of the long dead are exposed to the elements.
