The Giyanti chronicle (the Javanese script:) was a poem in the form of the tembang macapat that was written by Yasadipura about the history of the Javanese distribution on February 13 1755.
After the palace was moved to Surakarta from Kartasura because of being burnt by the person Tionghoa, then Prince Mangkubumi then left the palace and angry to rebelled.
Because his bent land was reduced by a great number.
Then waged war he opposed the Surakarta palace.
For this warfare he was helped by many princes and the other noble, including Samber-Nyawa Prince (Mangkunegara I).
Then Prince Samber Nyawa was made by the commander of the war.
In this warfare, Prince Mangkubumi conquered areas on the west of Surakarta, in the Mataram area.
Further Prince Samber Nyawa even the clash with Prince Mangkubumi.
Finally the person kompeni interceded, Prince Mangkubumi might become the king personally; the sultan Hamengkubuwana I in the new city that was named Yogyakarta and Prince Samber Nyawa continued to live in Surakarta and to become Prince Mangkunegara I. Perang this was finished in the government's period susuhunan Pakubuwana III.
